Murals: Fresco

Frescos are a special form of mural painting that can with stand the test of time. Some examples are the Sistine Ceiling and the murals of Diego Rivera. A fresco will last centuries compare to a regular painted murals. The process involves plastering a substrate and as the plaster is wet paint into the wet plaster. Once the plaster solidifies the mural becomes apart of the wall or ceiling.
