Fort Worth Workshops

Murals of Baltimore and Mr. Michael Kirby was contracted by the Arts Council of Fort Worth, Texas to create workshops and a mural on the side of the Southwest Recreation Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Kirby worked and held classes in the Southwest Recreation Center about the mural process for students from the local middle and high schools. Mr. Kirby works closely with school administrators and teachers to create a program that will help all the participating students. Students learn the various techniques of mural painting and how to work as a team. Students work side by side in effort to create one design that incorporates the views of all the students. Students learn to work for others and social etiquette.

Many projects involve creating paintings on boards and then placed in ceilings and walls.
