Love Story

Murals of Baltimore was contracted by the Arts Council of Fort Worth, Texas to create a mural on the side of the Southwest Recreation Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The mural depicts the love story of a Cowboy Puppet and a Ballerina Puppet. The love story incorporates the many layers of culture that are a part of Fort Worth with rodeos, landscape, gymnastics, and more. MoB worked closely with community leaders, the Public Art Program of Fort Worth and the Southwest Recreation Center in designing the mural. Across the street from the mural is Southwest High School and many of its students can be seen in the upper section of the mural manipulating the puppets below. MoB spent one year in Texas working on the mural as well as working with students to create murals in their schools.

The mural is located at 6300 Welch Ave., Fort Worth, Texas.
