Verona

Mr. Michael Kirby moved to Rome, Italy after spending over a year in Florence. Mr. Kirby would spend over 5 years in Rome reproducing famous works of art on the streets of Italy including Verona using soft pastels and chalk. For the next couple of years, he would create hundreds of chalk drawings and street paintings of famous Renaissance Art on the streets on a weekly basis in Verona. Four days a week for years he would create a new piece that was different from the day before. Mr. Kirby’s time in Italy was some of the most productive and influential times of his career.
