Firenze

MoB moved to Florence, Italy when he was nineteen years old. On the streets of Florence, he discovered street painting and Madonnari. For the next two years he would create hundreds of copies of famous Renaissance Art on the streets of Florence along Via Calimala on a weekly basis. Four days a week for two years he would create a new piece that was different from the day before. Today there are three stone paved areas for street artist to create their work with chalk and pastels. MoB worked with fellow Madonnari to create these spaces in the 1990’s.
