The Baltimore Basilica

Murals of Baltimore and Mr. Michael Kirby has been recreating a religious icon on the steps of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, or more commonly known as the Baltimore Basilica, every year on August 15th for the Day of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Every year Mr. Kirby creates a reproduction using soft pastels or chalk to create the Virgin Mary.
